Generations
A celebration
Parents are divined with the grandest of gifts; to devise, design, nurture the next generation. Every thing we do, say, give, do not give raises the child; every mistake laying dormant until repeated for the next generation and every right celebrated in the ordinary and extraordinary. It is not only our duty but our legacy to leave more than we take.
Three generations, from near and far, gather to celebrate the marriage of the first grandchild. They celebrate the beginning of a new family, they celebrate tradition, they celebrate what love has created time and time again.
“As around the sun the earth knows she’s revolving
And the rosebuds know to bloom in early May
Just as hate knows love’s the cure
You can rest your mind assure
That I’ll be loving you always
As now can’t reveal the mystery of tomorrow
But in passing will grow older every day
Just as all is born is new
Do know what I say is true
That I’ll be loving you always”
